plastic bits...

so i feel really stupid after making my first protein shake with the new blender :D ...i'm happily drinking it when i almost choke on a piece of white plastic :b ok i didnt "choke" on it. i spent the next 10 minutes fishing all the white pieces and wondering what the heck did i just chop up. was it something in the frozen berries i put in? or did i chop up a piece of the machinery?!

i looked at the other chopper and realized that there was a thin plastic thing that the manufacturer places on the sharp blades to protect customers from cutting themselves. doh... i didnt even look at the blade when i popped it into the blender jug.

well at least i now know what happened... :)
