Day 8 - Kyoto

So as you've probably noticed, I didn't have access to internet for the past week!

Saturday N and I traveled to Kyoto and spent time in the wet weather visiting a few temples (Kinkakuji, Ginkakuji, Heian Shrine), and doing some light shopping. We had sukiyaki for dinner (yum) and then dragged ourselves back onto the train to our hotel in Kobe.

We've been so tired from working long hours the past week... I'm still amazed at how we had enough energy to do some sightseeing in Kyoto :P

N packed that night as she was to fly to Nanjing early the next morning. We both took our showers and konked out as soon as our heads hit the pillow...
