banana loaf...

i made banana loaf a few days ago and it turned out great! :) i bought these little mini pans and when you cut the slices, they look like mini slices of bread.. so cute! :b

GH, i made a loaf for you, and put it in the freezer. i'll have to give it to you next time i see you! :)

Quidam!

our company took everyone and their significant others at Head Office out to see Cirque du Soleil's Quidam last night. it was INCREDIBLE! my first time at the circus and i was awestruck ;) now i'm really really anxious to see 'O' in Vegas. hopefully i can make a trip to Vegas this summer!

hmm anyone interested in getting a group together to go? :)

snail mail

i miss receiving postal mail in my mailbox. i love opening the mailbox and finding a letter from my friend in ontario or overseas. now i hardly get any personal mail -- its all bills and credit card statements :( thats totally taken the fun outta getting snail mail.

someone write me a letter and send it via Canada Post! :D

a colleague of mine made a very interesting observation the other day. she told me that its always best to make friends and network with women, because women are more likely to help people than men. that it is in their nature to be helpful and nurturing. they take pleasure in helping others and seeing others succeed. whereas men are more competitive so therefore less likely to help others.

what do you think?

bandaid on my tire...

so i got one of my rear tires patched up. there was this HUGE nail stuck in it. :( i probably got it from driving around all the construction that's happening in burnaby and vancouver :( i wish the boys would pick up their toys (aka nails and stuff) so that these things won't happen! :|

$25 later, my car is happier and rides SO much better :) thanks to JH and IC at RA!
