catching up!

ok so its been awhile since i last posted... so i'll have to give you the rundown for the past few weeks...

~ remembrance day weekend ~
my dad flew over to be with family over the remembrance day weekend. it was good to see him despite the events that have occurred in the days prior.

he spent a lot of time with my uncle M and I spent my time with him and his sons (my cousins) too. a death in the family is a very sad, trying, and stressful experience. i just hope that spending as much time as we did over that weekend, helped them through it...

~ november 21 ~
my first date with KS ;) we went to Vij's and had a lot of fun! :D will definitely take someone special there one day :D

oh and i scored tonite so KS and I are going to Las Margaritas next time ;)

~ november 26 ~
SNOW!!!! it started snowing on Sunday... covering the 604 with white powder :D i was so happy to see the snow i just wanted to play in it. the next day wasn't so great as many of us didn't trek into the office due to the road conditions.

reflect...

one of my relatives passed away recently. it didn't really hit me until today. i cried off and on in the afternoon. i don't really understand why it hit me today. maybe the thought that my dad will be flying in this week and that the funeral is drawing near pushed me over the edge.

did a lot of thinking on the way home while listening to Il Divo :P but seriously, the news of GM's death really made me think about how little time we have. there are just so many things i want to do still -- travel and work in another country (again), swim with the dolphins in Japan (again), get married, have kids, finish my kimono studies... there's just so much i want to do -- and so little time to do it...

what a night. i got to experience, firsthand, a RMC evening of drinking! ;) as you can see, T had a little bit too much to drink... ;)

il divo

i logged onto my computer this afternoon and saw an ad on MSN for Il Divo. The guys looked pretty hot so I *had* to see what this Il Divo was about.

HOLY SH*T! THEY'RE HOT.
