lychee season

its lychee season, as Momcy pointed out. i remember when i was living at home, we'd drive all the way to chinatown and buy a whole case/flat of lychee... it was SO cheap! and my mom and i would sit in the kitchen, talk and eat lychee ALL day... YUM YUM.

i need to go to chinatown. anyone wanna share a case/flat of lychee with me? :D

why is it so hard for people to say "i'm sorry"?

long weekend this weekend!!!

... another 4 more days (including today), until the long civic weekend. wish i was going away... really need a break from everything. anyone going away this weekend?

Splashdown Park

went to splashdown park on Sunday and i had SO much fun!! :D there were lots of waterslides, an outdoor hottub, and donut slides too :) i think the donut slides were my favourite :) after 3-4 hours of fun we had Breyer's waffle cones YUM YUM!
 
we then went to see Spiderman 2 in the theatres. i was so exhausted i took a nap and forgot to eat dinner! :b
 
next i wanna go white water rafting!!! :D

a sad farewell to KK on Sunday. :( i had a lot of fun goofing off and eating and hanging around with BK, MP, CL, KK, LG...

a big thank you to KK for playing on my vball team, and also for organizing Sunday's BAGAP. :) LG and I will go visit you in taiwan!!!

GNO - Sex and the City of YVR

... what a great nite i had with the girls. we talked about the good and the bad that was happening in our lives, exchanged tips about shopping, gave advice, shared opinions and ideas, listened to philosophies, and shared common moments of fear, love, and hope...

coupled with great food! and a few bad ass martinis, imagine 4 single (and sexy! ;) ) asian career women making a ruckus in a restaurant of fine dining (AR).. for more than 4 hours! luckily we were in the lounge and could be as loud as we wanted!

its amazing how a song can bring out so much emotion from somewhere inside you... a place where you fight hard to shut out because of the pain it reminds you of. but somehow the emotions just surface when you really listen to the lyrics...
